For us at One Ring, we have one inviolable principle and that is that we are “utterly obsessed” about our customer’s convenience. We began this journey at the precipice of a world totally trying to come to terms with the alarming spread of the dreaded corona virus –COVID-19, not as a way to take advantage of a society which was in desperate need of a paradigm shift from the more traditional way of shopping which generally entails going to the market place on a regular basis to purchase food items for short and long term sustenance. Rather, one of our primary goals was to create a platform which harnessed the sort of business principles that drive great companies to always operate on a plane where they are always connected to the unique and many needs of their individual customers.

 

Our goal, was and still is to truly give to the consumer a real sense of what it means to have the best choice of the sort of services that makes them feel that they are a part of something. Something that really listens to them and not just looking to give the illusion that they are being listened to until the debit alert comes in. For us, your paying for our services is not business as usual.  We aim to create a different sort of approach by really taking into consideration the reasoning that informs customer's expectations. This sensitivity to what makes good companies into great ones was guided by our ambition to disrupt the traditional shopping mentality of going to a market.

 

In our research, we have discovered that it is not true that the most successful transactions must entail a face-to-face visit to the market which tends to wrongly suggest that only then can best price options merge with best purchase choice. This assumption isn't the ultimate reward of convenience. In truth, the customer is so badly inconvenienced by the physical market options which demand an almost unbearably inhuman effort to endure over crowded, smelly, filthy, and unsanitary conditions of traditional markets. The appalling and mediocre sights and smells of the rotting and abandoned refuse alongside a kaleidoscope of diseased wetness on the ground adjacent to so called fresh foods sitting insidiously in unwashed trays, is the stuff nightmares are made of.  The horrible surroundings of where vegetables, fruits, frozen food stalls, grains and provision stores and the like are positioned, leaves nothing much to the imagination.

 

That such markets till this day are able to draw immense crowds of people both from high and low walks of life mingling and shopping while trying their best to look like they are sophisticated people of means and choice, only drives home the point that gives us a reason to exist using our distinct services as a better option. Indeed, the presence of people at such places only drives home the stake that they -in reality, do not have a better alternative that meets their requirement. They are without a choice and are only consoled by the illusion of one. This doesn't have to be so.

 

One Ring with its uniquely unrivalled innovative services finally gives everyone, the power to harness the right to choose a better sort of market place. This was part of the information that we offered to so many people in our pre-opening surveys. Our message to them (like wise to you reading this) was coined around this statement:

We are providing an E-market place that successfully creates an opportunity to improve the odds -among others, of staying safe and healthy not just for ourselves but for the ones closest to us. With this in mind, we sought to venture in to the space of E-Commerce using the most powerful and user friendly methods that are not just unique for our nature of business but also guarantee that we keep putting into consideration the ever growing importance of the best quality of fresh food needed to live our best possible lives.

 

This reveals that our quest is richly built on the frame work of creating a better future for our customers by ensuring that our investments and services are provided with the highest standards possible.

 

How we intend to achieve this:

 One Ring aims to provide a sustainable cyclical relationship between Food Availability – improved nutrition/Quality of Life while consciously and deliberately providing an Economic cushion for those who have been forgotten and are not even calculated in the exaggerated demographics of low income to middle income earners. Our actions are so deliberate that we use the word "exaggerated demographics" to depict the inaccuracies of the income classifications of people in developed countries but especially underdeveloped ones such as Nigeria. This is undeniably evident in the fact that the average Nigerian barely spends up to $2.5 dollars a day on basically feeding himself. To say that most Nigerians today never get to experience the 3 square meals a day dream, only goes to show just how precarious conditions are for the forgotten demographic mentioned previously.

 

No, we are not a charity organisation nor are we an NGO.

 

For a country which was responsible for planting the seed that led to the existence of this business, we owe that much to ensure that we at One Ring represent the true classes of ALL demographics so that this moral backbone can be the drive that will show our customers WHY, HOW and WHEN spectacular services are provided to them. However, we are here not just for the underprivileged but also for those whose desire is to live a premium lifestyle and can afford such quality not just domestically but also abroad.  

                                   

We have created a sustainable supply Chain of high quality produce by eliminating multiple middle man processes which tends to drive up prices while being oblivious to what true connoisseur services are really about.  Our, aim is to remain in business to provide such quality service by giving back to the consumers the right of choice.
